Hello one and all, I want to take you on a journey of endless possibilities. Where the only limitations is what we you put on our selves. Yes there is some risk to your pride and reputation, but we will get over it.
Before we get started, I want to give some background by a brief history for your understanding of the journey we are about to embark. This will help you to better understand the wonderful world we are about to enter. Where ideas flow over the internet while computers wait to do our bidding.
It all started where a group of families were sitting around a campfire, at night discussing the days adventures. Along came Mr Gutenberg who brought to us the printed word. Now everyone could read about important events. Then things progressed to the family gathering around a wooden box as it spoke out the days events. A few short years later that box started showing us pictures of things we never thought we could see.
While this was happening there sprung up rumors, the news we were getting was tainted. This lead to what was known as underground newspapers and radio stations.
In the 21st Century we were given some amazing tools. These tools allowed the voices of individuals to be heard all around the world. These tools were the personal computer, the internet, and a little piece of computer software called WordPress. Now text, pictures, voice, and and even video can be share.
Where are we going? We are going to the blogosphere.
As the name implies, the blogosphere is a world. A wonderful world where men and women take risks by expressing themselves. Some have used the blogosphere to report on news events. Others have used the blogosphere to connect with friends and family in distant lands.
We have to thank pioneers such as Darren Rowse, Command Taco, Leo LaPorte, and Brad Fitzpatrick for what they have contributed to making the blogosphere it is today. Some of the blogs they pioneered were Wikipedia (an online Encyclopedia), Slashdot (one of the first places where ordinary people could submit news stories online), ProBlogger.net (a blog devoted to helping people be better bloggers).

LifeHacker.com (loaded with quick and easy tips to help you lifestyle be a better lifestyle), Then there are news sites like Digg.com and Reddit.com. Oh yes, I must not forget the internet video blogs like TWIT.tv, and Revision3. There are many, many other blogs discussing every subject imaginable.
